Call To Me
POEM OF THE MONTH Call to Me He may not part the sea But He will help you across He may not answer yes But He’ll soothe you in your loss He just may say wait I am doing a new thing He may just take some time In this healing He will bring He may be waiting for you today To look to His higher hopeful way To put your trust in Him alone And bring your burdens to the throne Look for ways that He will work A mighty plan in you That may not have been noticed If this didn’t happen to you Your soul is very costly To a God who created all And in this hour of darkness He urges you to call Call unto me I’ll answer you And show you things you do not know Seek me and you’ll find me Come close to my great throne For I have a plan for your life I have not forgotten you Seek Me in this hour of darkness And I will answer you ********************************************************** SCRIPTURE Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult things, which you don't know. Jeremiah 33:3 *********************************************************** MESSAGE As we look at an infinite God with a finite mind, there is much we don’t understand. The Bible proclaims that we see as through a dark glass but one day we will have the ability to understand many mysteries now hidden to us. We couldn’t handle seeing God in our current limited physical state or we would die (see Exodus 33:20). In heaven, our minds won’t be limited by or encumbered by the mentality, cares and thoughts of this world. Then we will understand infinite WOW!!!! There are some things that we won’t know until we leave this earth. It’s important to trust in our merciful God and know that He has our best interest in mind. He is our ally, not our enemy. Though we won’t know everything until we get to heaven, right now we have in our power the ability to understand and see more concerning our God. As the scripture proclaims in Jeremiah 33 we only need to call upon Him and allow Him to show us great and mighty things we do not know. God may reveal the answer to your question, if He doesn't, He is still the answer for you. Great benefit can be derived simply by seeking Him. How will we know anything if we don’t ask Him or seek Him? Call on Him today; read His word, give Him your cares and let Him to reveal Himself to you. It might surprise you to know what wonderful thoughts He has of you. He is the answer.
