NOT THE END
The light of God our Maker
The love of God our King
The beauty of His word
Will guide you in all things
Do not be discouraged
At trials that come your way
There is a golden promise
That He’ll bring brighter days
Keep reaching for the Author
Of life’s fantastic book
The Lifter of your Head
And open your heart to look
The darkness of the trial
Turns on a special light
That you may not seek normally
When everything’s alright
Find the gift the treasure
Find Him in the dark
The Bible says you’ll see Him
When you seek Him with your heart
Then you’ll bring to darker places
You’ll now walk on a higher plane
Your perspective will grow heavenly
The darkness you will tame
You won’t have to fear what man can do
You won’t have to fear the dark
Your life can be a joyous song
You sing as the morning lark
Don’t think you won’t have trials
Don’t think life won’t be hard
Know that I am there, says God
Your Strength, your Song, your Bard
Trials are not the end
This life is just the start
Of the beauty I am preparing for you
